UC Berkeley Professor to ward $1000 to the monthly winner

The UC Berkeley Hass School of Business professor launched a special initiative to promote, celebrate, and reward acts of kindness in his community. The award is called Chris Kindness Award. This was established by Alan Ross, a long-time professor, to recognize one person monthly because of their act of kindness. Ross will then pay that person with a $1000 prize. The funding for this project comes from himself, and he also received help from volunteers who set up the website and worked to get the word out. This is a very nice initiative of the professor. This way, the act of kindness will be spread out. Read more.
